Hi! I'm Carolyn. I'm a 40-something mid-western mommy of a silly and happy 6 year old girl. I enjoy drawing, photography, sewing,quilting, home improvement and diy projects, gardening, and design. I am entirely self-taught in all of the above. Adobe Creative Suite tutorials are my late-night obsession: I am trying to improve my skills in Illustrator and InDesign... I am proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom, but there is always something new to learn!
I also love to sew and quilt, usually small-sized projects, such as pillows, table runners, curtains & valances, pouches and totes. I'd love to make an actual quilt (to completion!)... this is on my bucket list for 2014!
Most of my professional life has been spent in the home improvement world. I am a project manager for a major home-improvement retailer, spending most of my time overseeing full-scale kitchen and bath remodeling projects.
